Courteney Cox
has teamed up with the members-only online shopping destination Rue La
La to create her only celebrity styled personal shopping experience.
Rue La La is an online shopping experience that brings exclusive boutiques of designer styles daily to those who are members of the site. Rue La La has started a new initiative called “Doing A Little Good” that brings together shopping, celebrity and philanthropy.
Rue La La will feature exclusive boutiques curated by celebrity moms including Courtney Cox and Nicole Kidman.
The first celebrity boutique will be items hand chosen by Courteney Cox and will launch on November 15, 2011. The boutique features some of her personal favorite items from Kit+Lili, vintage Chanel and for the kids she’s picked out some items from Joe’s Jeans among others.
100% of net profits from the sale will benefit Courteney’s charity of choice and she chose EBMRF, which stands for Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation. EB is a rare genetic disorder characterized by blister formation of the skin and Courtney has been a supporter of the foundation since she discovered that her manager’s nephew was diagnosed with the disease.
Steve Davis, president of Rue La La, “At Rue La La we share a deep passion to give back and do a little good with each of the parents we’re partnering with. We are thrilled to raise funds and awareness for these important charities with our Doing A Little Good Boutiques.”
Courteney talks to the company about her personal style and what you can expect from her special boutique on November 15.
“I have a somewhat relaxed style. A good T-shirt, a leather jacket, jeans, and a great bag can be my daily uniform,” says Cox.
She says denim is the one item she can’t live without, “I don’t know that I have one favorite item but I love my Paige and J Brand jeans and my Chanel purse.”
And as for her daughter Coco’s style, because the boutique will feature some children’s clothes, Courteney reveals that “Coco absolutely has her own style – she loves flash and sparkles. She definitely takes on more of David’s style than mine.”
